Indiana County Chamber of Commerce

The Indiana Garden Club was founded in 1930 and federated with the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania (GCFP) in 1938.  Their  mission is to develop the love of horticulture, to promote an active interest in gardening, to develop skill in the art of flower arranging, to encourage civic planting and beautification, to stimulate concern for our environment and conservation of native plants and trees.

Perennial Plant AssociationThe Perennial Plant Association (PPA) is dedicated to improving the perennial plant industry by providing education to enhance the production, promotion and utilization of perennial plants.  Each year members cast their vote for an outstanding perennial to become the 'Plant of the Year' which must meet the following criteria:   Suitable for a wide range of climate types,  Low maintenance needs,  Easily propagated - true from seed or vegetatively propagated, and Exhibiting multiple seasonal interest.

Red Barn Perennials is proud to be a member of the Perennial Plant Association and your local source for PPA recommended plants.

The American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) provides education, research, public relations, and representation services to members.  This support helps to provide the public with quality plants, landscape design and installations, and related products and services.  The ANLA works to foster plant standards, advocates a system of reasonable and scientifically-sound pest and disease safeguards for interstate plant shipments.  Long the leader in the area of plant protection, it was instrumental in the plant-quarantine system designed to protect U.S. plants from dangerous and costly infestations.  The ANLA and its members, advocate environmental enhancement through plants and landscaping.
