Why you need this plant:        An exceptional cultivar of heliopsis that produces bright golden yellow, daisy-like flowers with a mahogany eye, atop dark purple-red stems. The mature flowers are all-yellow, contrasting nicely against the green foliage with a purple-red tinge. This selection flowers for up to 8 weeks beginning in midsummer, especially if deadheaded.

'Summer Nights' has a tall, upright, clumping habit. The long flower stems are excellent for cutting.
