Why you need this plant:        One of the most valuable garden plants, with deep yellow petals radiating from a black cone.  Heat and drought tolerant, perennials do not come any easier or more striking than the 'Goldstrum'.

 
Planting Info:       One of the easiest perennials to grow, will tolerant a wide range of soil conditions and drought tolerant.  May want to deadhead spent blooms to keep plant looking fresh.  Plant with Monarda to create a standout effect in the garden.  Makes an excellent cut flower and attract butterflies.
