Planting Info:       The species require fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny location.  Easy to grow in temperate climates, but resent soil with a high lime content and dry roots.  Thin crowded plants by cutting back some of the arching canes after flowering.  Propagate from cuttings of semi-ripened wood in summer.
