Why you need this plant:        Selected by the Perennial Plant Association for it's lovely blue-violet flowers and long bloom time, attractive foliage, ease of propagation, lack of pests or disease problems and low maintenance requirements.  What more can you say.  Walker's Low may be used as a border plant, a groundcover, in rock or herb gardens and as a container plant.  Will bloom continuously throughout the season if properly pruned (by 1/2 - 2/3 after first flush).  Great for attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects but is deer and rabbit resistant.  Leaves are aromatic.

Planting Info:       Thrives in average, well-drained garden soil.  Once established is drought tolerant and along with other catmints is salt-tolerant.  Will tolerate some shade in hot climates but prefers full sun.  May shear in springtime before buds appear to keep a more compact habit.
