Pinkish, feathery flowers appear in late summer for a splash of color in the perennial border. Will tolerate a less than fertile soil. | | | Planting Info: The pinnacle of a low maintenance perennial. After planting, grasses do not need to tended to at all in late fall or early winter. In the spring, shear the old growth down to ground level and gently rake out any tangled masses. Fertilize in spring if desired but should not be necessary in all but the most infertile of soil. | |
