Hardiness:

Well drained - drought tolerant

Why you need this plant:        Superb container or zeriscape gardening plant.  Drought-tolerant, heat tolerant, blooms all summer into autumn & rarely afflicted by disease.

Planting Info:       May self seed but seedlings will be regular green-leafed gauras.  Dislikes being divided because the long taproot is too easily broken.  Best way to propagate is by stem cuttings.  Softwood or semi-hardened cuttings can be rooted spring or summer (assisted with a rooting hormone).  Stems will root in four-six weeks.  Best started in pots to reduce transplant injury.
