| Why you need this plant: A hardy and vigorous grower, the mature plant is covered in pure white, sweetly scented blooms. | | | Planting Info: Clematis are notoriously heavy feeders and require a rich, organic soil for robust growth. Although slow to start, once established the Clematis will provide years of enjoyment and bloom. Do not cut vines back in late fall as new growth will sprout from old wood in spring. At Red Barn, all of our Clematis are two years old, grown at our nursery for hardiness, with a trellis included. | |
