The flowers sit atop long, wiry stalks. The basal foliage, which has been compared to peach tree leaves, will plantlets on the side of the crown. | | | Planting Info: Encourage rebloom by cutting flower stems out after blooming. Deadheading will prolong bloom but take care not to remove unopened buds on the same stem. Foliage does not need to be pruned down in preparation for winter. The green color will last through most of the winter and usually needs no cleanup in the spring. | |
