Why you need this plant:        A charming, low-growing Anemone that sprouts interesting incised leaves.  Attractive carmine-rose flowers in early summer resemble tight globes.

 
Planting Info:       All like deep, moisture retentive soil.  Apply a winter mulch in cold climates.  Provide some shading from mid-day sun in hot areas.  Divide every 3-4 years digging deeply and replant immediately.
